

In the case of registration for fee-based courses, you
shall be advised of the fees during the registration process. Otherwise, the
course shall be free of charge.
The contract shall come into effect through a
registration and the confirmation of the registration by Weiss. The
confirmation of the registration shall take place in writing, by e-mail to the
address of the Participant that has been provided. The presentation of the
course in the event database shall not constitute a legally binding offer.
By registering, the Participant accepts the validity
of the present Conditions of Participation.
To register, the Participant must enter personal
contact information and consent to the Conditions of Participation.

If the Participant is unexpectedly unable to
participate, he/she must cancel in writing.
6. Cancellation of courses by
Weiss
6.1
Weiss reserves the right to cancel the training course at short notice if there
are too few participants, if there are technical problems, if the speaker
cancels or for organisational reasons. The Participant shall be informed of
possible alternative dates if applicable.
6.2
In the case of fee-based digital training courses, participation fees that have
been paid shall be refunded, or credited if the alternative date is accepted.
6.3
In the case of free courses, no further claims can be derived from the
cancellation.
7. Changes to the course
Weiss reserves the right to replace or drop
individual presentations in a digital training course, insofar as this has no
influence on the overall character of the course. The actual speakers may also
differ from the announced speakers if these are prevented from attending.
8. Termination by Weiss
Weiss may terminate the contract for good cause, e.g.
if the Participant consistently disrupts the course or fails to pay on time
after a reminder. There shall be no entitlement to a reimbursement of the fee
that has already been paid.
9. Liability
9.1 All the
information in the webinars has been put together carefully. Weiss shall provide
no guarantee for the completeness and accuracy of the data and information. the
information in the webinars shall not constitute a guarantee, assurance or
other warranty.
9.2 Apart from in
the event of deliberation action, Weiss shall not be liable for direct or
indirect damages, including a loss of profit, that arise as a result of the use
of the information that can be found in the digital training courses.
9.3 In other
respects, Weiss shall only be liable for damages that are due to a breach of
duty by Weiss, its legal representatives or its vicarious agents on the basis
of wilful intent or gross negligence. Liability for a loss of life, physical
injury and damage to health, for the infringement of essential contractual
obligations and on the basis of the German Product Liability Act shall not be
affected. The term “essential contractual obligations” refers to obligations
which must be fulfilled to achieve the objective of the contract and upon the
observance of which the other party relies and may regularly rely. In the event
of the infringement of essential contractual obligations, the claim to
compensation shall be limited to the typically foreseeable damage if this has
not been caused by wilful intent or gross negligence, unless the claims for
compensation arise from loss of life, physical injury or damage to health.
9.4 Weiss shall also
assume no liability If courses start later or are cancelled completely because
of force majeure.
The Participant shall meet the requirements for
his/her Internet access at his/her own responsibility and at his/her own
expense.
The Participant take care of the necessary hardware
and its technical performance.
The Participant shall ensure that he/she has
protection against computer viruses and similar threats that corresponds to the
state of the art.
The Participant is obligated to keep his/her username
and password for the learning platforms secret and to protect them against
misuse by third parties. The Participant shall be responsible for activities
that take place using his/her access details.
The Participant undertakes not to disseminate any
unlawful, defamatory, threatening, obscene, racist or similar statements to
other participants of the learning platform and other users of the Internet.
The Participant undertakes not to make data of other
users and content of the learning platform accessible to third parties.
He/she undertakes to use this data and content solely
for the contractual purpose.
An infringement of these conditions for use shall
entitle Weiss to bar the Participant from using the learning platform and also,
after a fruitless reminder with a grace period, to terminate the contract for
good cause.
11. Use of documents from the
digital training course
All the contents, images, quotes, charts and the
documents provided for download, as well as the recordings during the course,
shall be protected by copyright and shall be the property of Weiss. The
Participant shall be entitled to use the documents that are provided for
his/her own purposes. A right of use that goes beyond this, especially the
right to publish or reproduce the documents or to pass them on to third
parties, shall only be permitted after consultation and with the approval of
Weiss.
Recordings of webinars and live online training
sessions in any form shall not be permissible without the written consent of
Weiss.
12. Final provisions
12.2 The present
Conditions of Participation shall be subject to German law to the exclusion of
the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
13. Severability clause
The invalidity of individual provisions of the
present Conditions of Participation shall not affect the validity of the
remaining provisions.
