Hazard levels categorizes the risk of testing batteries and it is based on the EUCAR Hazard Level categories. In this Web Based Training you will learn more about the risk assessment that is needed when testing batteries in test chamber under various environmental conditions, the EUCAR Hazard Levels and our safety equipment for environmental tests of batteries.
Furthermore, we will touch the case when testing a battery not only involves specialized equipment to deal with a failing battery, but also when the battery vents flammable substances and ATEX / explosion protection needs to be considered as well.
